The Arewa people in Lagos State have promised to mobilise massively for the reelection of the state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Governorship and State Assembly Elections coming up on Saturday, 18 March, 2023.
The Leader of the Arewa Movement in the state, Architect Kabir Ahmed Abdullahi gave this assurance during an interview with the Gazelle News, today.
According to him, “we Arewa have transfered the love we gave for President Muhammadu Buhari to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and invariably to Governor Sanwo-Olu and other APC candidates in Lagos.
“We will vote massively for him and candidates of APC on Saturday, 18 March, 2023. In fact, I’m giving assurance of Arewa’s 100 percent votes for Sanwo-Olu and other APC candidates”.
Arc Ahmed Abdullahi, who is also the state’s Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, said that the Arewa are ready to replace any vote lost to the opposition from the other side with massive votes.
“We will replace votes for opposition from our brothers from the other side with massive votes of our own. Victory is assured for Governor Sanwo-Olu and other APC candidates inshaaa Allah,” he said.
According to him, Governor Sanwo-Olu and his team has done extremely well to guarantee his re-election.
“The Governor and his team have performed extremely well and we have decided to reward them with our votes for them to continue the good job they’re doing,” he said.
