All the Policemen, including the DPO serving at Ajiwe Police Station have been transferred out of Ajah division to improve professionalism and battered image in the area. This comes two weeks after Bolanle Raheem and Gafaru Buraimo were both shot and killed on December 7 and 25 by Policemen attached to Ajiwe Police Station. The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Abiodun Alabi gave the orders for the immediate transfer of the officer. Consequently a new DPO, CSP Adolf Ogwu has so far been deployed to Ajiwe Police Division Ajah to replaced the former DPO that was transferred to bring sanity to the division. The new DPO has therefore demolished all the shanties around the police station where the Policemen usually hung out to drink. The already transferred officers would be replaced with officers from other divisions
