The Lagos State Taskforce has released the Official Portrait of its Chairman, Chief Supretendence of Police ( CSP), Adetayo Akerele to the Public.
For his meritorious service to the State, Governor Babajide Sanwo – Olu appointed CSP Adetayo as the Chairman of Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit ( Taskforce) on Monday, June 25, 2024.
Until his appointment as the Chairman of Lagos Taskforce, CSP Adetayo was the Officer in Charge and Commander of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority ( LAMATA) Enforcement Squad, before he was meritoriously elevated to the exulted position.
Prior to his current appointment, CSP Adetayo Akerele, who is happily married and blessed with children has served as the Second in Command (2IC) at the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Enforcement Unit (Taskforce), Bolade, Oshodi.
CSP Adetayo in his Career Progression, Served as the Human Rights Officer at Sango Police Station in 2016 and was the Sector Commander of the IGP Taskforce on Anti – Pipeline Vandalism from 2012 to 2016.
