The Nigerian Professional Football League ( NPFL) Week Eleven Matches will be played later this afternoon across various centres in the Country in what will be a battle for supremacy for the two top clubs that sits at the top of the league table.
Current League leader, Remo Stars will be away to Enyimba Football Club, who are third on the league table at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba. A win for either team will change the standing on the league table. Remo Stars has 21 points, while Enyimba has 18 points from the same number of matches.
Rivers United who occupies the second position also with 21 points on the league table will welcome their neighbours, Bayelsa United to the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port – Harcourt. A win for Rivers United will take them to the top of the League table. Bayelsa United are currently second to the last on the league table.
In other matches scheduled for today, Heartland Football Club who will want to improve their standing on the league table play host to Sunshine Stars of Akure at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.
Katsina United will try to avoid relegation waters when they confronts Ikorodu City at the Young Katsina Stadium.
At the Bako Stadium, ninth placed Niger Tornadoes of Minna will play against Akwa United who are at the bottom of the relegation waters with just nine points.
Plateau United of Jos who are in the eighth position on the league table will battle sixth placed Enugu Rangers International at the Jos International Stadium.
In the last matches for today, Nasarawa United will take on Kwara United who will be avoiding relegation waters at the Lafia Township Stadium, while Shooting Stars of Ibadan who are in the fifteenth position will play host to El Kanem Warriors, the fifth placed team on the league table.
All the League Matches will be played by 4.00 Pm today at various centres across the country except the one involving Shooting Stars and El Kanem which will be played by 5:30 Pm.
Results of the week eleven played yesterday at two centres, Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi pipped Abia Warriors by three goals to one at Lafia Township Stadium.

Lobi Stars of Makurdi from yesterday’s victory over Abia Warriors now occupied 16 position on the log with 12 points from 11 matches, having won 3, draw 3 and lost 5 matches from 11 matches, while the loss by Bendel Insurance yesterday moved the teams to 14 position with 12 points from 11 matches, have won 3, draw 3 and lost 5 from 11 matches.
