The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo – OLU has collected his reprinted Permanent Voters Card ( PVC) at the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) Lagos Island LGA Office on Monday,12, December, 2022. He thereafter signed the INEC Collection register. Governor Sanwo – Olu appealed to residents of voting age to collect their Permanent Voters Card from INEC Offices in their localities. His Excellency made the appeal on Monday when he stopped by INEC Office in the Sura area to pick up his reprinted Permanent Voters Card alongside his Deputy – Governor and some Executive Council Members. Governor Sanwo – Olu who is seeking re – election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC, few months ago re – designated his location and updated his details having moved his polling unit from Ikoyi to Lagos Island, ahead of next year’s governorship election. Sanwo – Olu reminded the people that it was only when they collect their PVCs that they would be able to exercise their franchise during next year’s general elections. Governor Sanwo – Olu said he has the confidence that Lagosians will do the right thing by re – electing him back to office during the February 2023 governorship poll based on his adminstration’s performance during the first term in office.
