The National Leadership of Ruling All Progressive Congress will this afternoon meet with the Party’s Senators and House of Representatives – Elect to chat a way forward for the 10th National Assembly. The meeting which comes up later today by 2 Pm at the State House Banquet Hall Aso Rock Villa, Abuja will also be attended by the President – Elect and Vice – President – Elect. In a statement signed by the Party’s National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore asked the Senators and House of Representatives Members – Elect to come to the meeting with their Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Certificate of Return and must come alone as the meeting is strictly by invitation. The statement also advise All Invited guests are expected to arrive early to allow for screening before 12 noon. At the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly Elections held on the 25th February 2023 the All Progressive Congress Candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the election, becoming the President – Elect, while Senator Kashim Shettima emerged the Vice – President – Elect. The Party also won the majority in both the Senate and House of Representatives Seats. The All Progressive Congress ( APC) won 57 out of the 109 Senatorial Seats and also won 162 of 380 Seats in House of Representatives.
