President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Professor, Mojisola Christiana Adeyeye as the Director – General of National Agency for Food Drug and Administration Control. NAFDAC . Her reappointment was made known through the agency via their Official Twitter handle on Friday. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha conveyed the approval of the President to Professor Adeyeye whose tenure renewal took effect from 1st of December, 2022. It may be recalled that her first tenure ended in November 2, 2022, making Dr. Monica Elmuhreze, to take over as the Acting DG of the Agency. The Director – General reappointment came closely on the heels of monumental achievements and successes in the last five years especially the attainment of World Health Organizations ( WHO) Maturity level 3 . However making announcement on the twitter for her reappointment, the agency stated that Professor Mojisola Christiana Adeyeye has been @ DG at NAFDAC for a second and final tenure of five years. Thereafter she stopped briefly at the Corporate Headquarters in Abuja to meet with Directors, members of staff and other stakeholders.
