The Portuguese Soccer Star, Captain and Five time Balloon d’ or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a World record breaking millions of pounds contract deal with a Saudi Club Al Nassr, the second most successful team in league on a free transfer. Five months after he left Manchester United, Ronaldo will receive a staggering 175 millions pounds per year in a two year deal with the Saudi Club. The millions pounds deal now makes Cristiano Ronaldo the highest paid footballer on Earth, which will see him play until he is around 40 years old and will be 38 years old next February. The record signing contract will end in June,2025. Cristiano Ronaldo a Real Madrid legend, last played for Manchester United but left acrimoniously over a disagreement with the Coaching and Management of the English Club which led to a mutual termination of his contract, leading to the latest mouth watering deal. For the records ALNassr was formed in 1955, it is a club based in the Saudi Capital and features in the Country’s top division, the Saudi Professional League (SPL) that has 18 team formats. The club which players wear YELLOW AND BLUE Jersey play its games in their 25,000 Capacity Stadium. ALNassr which have won a total of nine league titles, the last being in 2018/ 2019 Season and are now behind Riyadh based Al – Hilal who has 18 titles Currently the club is in the second position on the league table after 10 games, two points behind leader, Al Shabab. In his words after he signed the record breaking contract, Cristiano Ronaldo said “I am fortunate that i have won everything i set out to win in European Football and feel now that this the right moment to share my experience in Asia ‘ l look forward to join my new teammates and together with them help the club to achieve success. He also said that Al Nassr’s vision is very inspiring and impressive and look forward again to different league in a different Country.
