Meanwhile, President Muhammad Buhari has also approved the appointment of deputy Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, as the Substantive Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Road Safety Commission ( FRSC ) . Until his appointment, Dauda Ali Biu was the Acting Corps Marshal of the Commission a position he held since July, 2022. In a statement by the Assistant Corps Marshal and Corps Public Education Officer, Bisi Kazeem in Abuja, said the landmark appointment by President Muhammad Buhari makes the new Corps Marshal, the second career staff to be appointed in that capacity after Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi the erstwhile Corps Marshal. He said the season road safety professional was born in Zaria, Kaduna State and hails from Hawul Local Government Area of Borno State. He joined the services of the Federal Road Safety Commission in 1988 and rose through hard work, dedication and commitment to the rank of Deputy Corps Marshal and has held several positions of authority. He holds a Master degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The appointment takes effect from December 23, 2022.
