The Ministers – designate will on Monday 21st August 2023 at the State House Conference Centre, Presidential Villa, Abuja will be Sworn in by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by ten in the morning.
President Tinubu apart from performing the swearing-in ceremony will thereafter administer oath of office on all the Ministers – Designate and formed his long-awaited Cabinet Members.
45 out of 48 ministerial nominees were cleared and confirmed by the Senate on August 7th 2023 . Following their confirmation President Bola Tinubu then approved and assigned Portfolios to each of them on August 16th 2023.
The 45 Ministers – Designate concluded their documentations on Sunday August 20th 2023 where they submitted the copies of their Curriculum vitae, birth certificate/declaration of age, two passport photographs for the record. The Honourable Ministers – Designate are expected to come with three guests. All Honourable Ministers and invited guests are to be seated by 9 AM.
